Handbag #2

Happy Wednesday!

I've been busy this week, sewing and thrifting.
I finished another one of these bags Monday. Yesterday I went thrifting at Goodwill, 
I'm excited to show you what I found.

Are you tired of my handbags yet? 
I hope not because, I* might* be slightly addicted to making them. 
They are so cute & easy to make, I'm working on my{third}one now.

I also found some black and white striped fabric too.
I got {2} HUGE rolls of fabric for $10.
The black fabric I bought from Hobby Lobby for super cheap!

Thrifty Thursday Outfits--Summer Colors

I should of posted this yesterday for WIWW {What I Wore Wednesday}

But I was just way to busy yesterday to blog, so I'm posting today.

My First Handbag & Free Pattern

Have you ever been so anxious or intimidated by a project before?
Well, this was me this week!
Like I said here, patterns and handbags intimidate me.
I have always wanted to make a one, just been to scared to try.
I took a leap of faith this week and tried out this pattern.


I just want to say a big thanks to Sara over at Craft Snob
and Donna from Sewing Mends The Soul for this free pattern.


I was very pleased with this tutorial.
It was very easy to read, I had no problems
following the step-by-step instructions.
If you looking for handbag pattern,  I highly recommend doing this one!
You will be very pleased with the results. I know I was.

**I found coordinating fabric to match the inside and top band
also on CLEARANCE for $2.50**

With the help of my MIL we made this amazing handbag.
So many people have told me that it looks like a Vera Bradley.

Done Is Better Than Perfect...

Happy Monday!!

I just wanted to say thank you everyone for all the sweet comments
on my professional wedding pictures.
You really know how to make a girl feel special.

Sorry for the lack of posting, my mother in law has been down 
and we have been crafting everyday.

I did make a handbag and I can't wait to show you all!

**My Professional Wedding Pictures***


Yep! It's true. My professional wedding pictures have arrived.
I'm so thrilled.
They were everything I hoped for and more.
I'm obsessed with them.
Seriously...
I now know the meaning of the saying...
"A picture is worth a thousand words."
Words cant describe the feeling I get when I look at my photos.

Katie is the one who took these amazing shots on my wedding day.

Sew Cute--Free Patterns To Try

This week my mother in law is coming down to
 spend time with Taylor and I.
I love it when she comes down, we have such a great time!
I figured I would have a a few things for us to try and make while she is down.
I'll admit, I'm a little nervous when it comes to sewing and patterns.
I've pinned a few things for us to try and make.
